LGBTQ Youth

Working with youth who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, or who are questioning their sexuality (LGBTQ), presents specific challenges. Professionals working with this population must be aware of the unique issues facing this population and educate themselves about the most appropriate manner in which to address them.
